The Challenge
This global warfighting combatant command is responsible for ensuring strategic threat deterrence and decisive response preparedness for our nation’s combat-ready forces. Their IT directorate managed over $20 billion of assets and 90 services offerings in disparate spreadsheets. Years of disconnected IT planning and management processes and lack of transparency had contributed to an overall misalignment between IT and the Comptroller.

- In order to fulfill their mission, this DoD organization needed the ability to make informed decisions quickly with a high level of accountability throughout the IT directorate.
- TBM now allows all parties involved in decision making to speak the same language whether they are the warfighter, IT, or Finance and thus driving transparency.
- Because transparency is establish, Service Owners are now empowered to be more accountable for their IT services and have the tools to communicate most effectively with the people they are providing IT services for.
